You have the right to request permanent deletion of all personal data that DottChat holds about you. This applies regardless of the platform through which you accessed DottChat.
This action is permanent and irreversible.
What Will Be Deleted
How to Submit
Send an email to the address below. We do not require you to create an account or fill an online form.
Subject: Data Deletion Request — DottChat
Please include the following in your email:
- The platform you used to access DottChat (e.g. Android app, iOS app, WhatsApp, Web)
- Your registered phone number or email address associated with DottChat
- Your name (if provided during use)
- A brief statement requesting deletion of all your data

What Happens After You Submit
Acknowledge
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
Verification
We may ask one verification question to confirm your identity.
Deletion
All data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days of verification.
Confirmation
You will receive a written confirmation email once complete.

Platform-Specific Notes
If you accessed DottChat via a third-party platform, you may also need to manage data directly with that platform:
Submitting a deletion request to us covers data on our servers. Device-level data is managed through your device or platform settings.
Android
Manage app data via Settings > Apps > DottChat > Storage > Clear Data
iOS
Delete the app from your device to remove locally stored data
Delete the conversation thread from your WhatsApp chat list
